"The illustrative details were beautiful, and the overall narrative was succinct without cutting out the richness of this classic tale. Well done!"
Darren Coleman4th Grade Teacher
"As a 4th grade teacher, I am constantly searching for ways to get students to fall in love with reading. I would love for 4th graders to read the "Classics", but sometimes the engagement and comprehension falls off because of the writing style of these books. The solution? Classic Books for All! These edited Classics pare down these books into language that kids understand, and can comprehend much easier. The genius editing style keeps the voice of the author, tells the story, but in a way that kids understand and connect with. I'm looking forward to having all of these Classic Books for All in my classroom library. Thank you for contributing to a kid's love of reading!"

"I have been a teacher for over 20 years, most of those years spent with emerging readers in special education. It can be difficult to find books that are both engaging and appropriate for older readers; however, that are also written at a lower independent reading level. Classic Books for All makes timeless literature accessible for all readers, which facilitates independence and a love of learning."

"My kids loved this book! We wanted a more simplistic version for our littler kiddos to listen to and then we plan to watch the movie on our Christmas break. It was absolutely perfect!"

The Time Machine

In this abridged classic, a young scientist creates a device with which he travels 800,000 years into the future. The world seems familiar and even peaceful in many ways, but he senses that things are not exactly as they seem. As he explores, his time machine mysteriously disappears, and he is stranded in this strange future world.

He discovers that humanity has evolved into two different species, the gentle Eloi and the vicious Morlocks. The Eloi, who live off a diet of fruit and engage in daytime play, befriend the scientist.

But something is very wrong in this strange future world….
